Isn't it funny/sad the things we give up and/or forget about when we get super crazy busy? I'm going to go with more the sad card in this instance. I love writing on here. Definitely for myself, first and foremost (I've said it before and I'll say it again...hard to explain, but this has been so therapeutic for me in the past almost-year). But also for my friends and family, who try as they might, have trouble keeping up with my work, travels, relationships, and general adventures. I'm really like a bouncy ball sometimes.
There have been countless points in the last few weeks where something triggers me throughout a day - "Oh, that would be funny to write about," or "_______ would love to read about that," or "TSA...you foiled me again!" But have I followed through? No. Bad Lindsay, bad. I've had a lot of questions about my whereabouts and lack of commentary on here about what I've been up to...so it needs to happen. I have to make a commitment to get back on the wagon! (Or is it to get back off the wagon? I always forget which is the good one.)
It will make me so much happier to get back at it! So I promise to make it happen, whether I'm waiting in an airport, 35,000 feet in the air, in a hotel room, awake and still working at 2:00am, in California, or North Carolina, or wherever. Because let's be honest...I have a Verizon wireless card and a laptop...neither of which I am ever without. So no excuses!
